Sushi Bros is a new concept Japanese sushi restaurant serving fresh, quality sushi for both dine-in and takeaway, and are in the lookout for amazing team members to join our team.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Kitchen Manager/Sushi Chef to join our kitchen team at Sushi Bros. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of hands-on experience in sushi preparation and be confident in knife handling, time management, and operating in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, and rolls
  • Handle seafood and other fresh ingredients with precision and care
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workstation
  • Work effectively during busy service periods while upholding high quality standards
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months' experience making sushi/managing store operations
  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of sushi preparation techniques
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet service times
  • Positive attitude, team-focused, and eager to learn
