Role Overview

We are looking for an educator who is passionate about children and wanting to help them thrive in their early years. This role requires you to contribute to and support an authentic, creative, healthy, challenging and caring learning environment for children and families. You will support the room and help lead and contribute to a positive and professional team culture.

Supporting the Lead Educator, develop a planned and reflective learning and development program for children that follows the Centres' pedagogy, curriculum and the Early Years Framework.

Ensure the health and safety of all children is supported and promoted.

Respect the Centres' facilities and ensure the design and use of the physical environment is appropriate for the operation of the service.

Work as a professional, respectful and kind member of your team and Centre.

Ensure relationships with children (and between children) are respectful and responsive.

Build strong and supportive relationships with families and the broader community.

Adhere to all Centre policies, procedures, systems and practices. Understand and demonstrate adherence to the National Quality Framework (Education and Care Services National Regulations, Law and the NQS 7 Quality Areas).

Ensure currency of qualifications and certifications held;

· Certificate III → Diploma in Early Childhood Development

· Working with Vulnerable People/Children Card

· CPR

· First Aid, including Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificate

Note: If currently studying, you are required to provide your Centre Director with updated transcripts every 3 months.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
