MRAEL have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Employment Consultant to join the Intojobs team to deliver the Workforce Australia Employment Services. This position is based in our Sarina office.

About the Role:

As a Mobile Employment Consultant, you will provide one-on-one support to manage a caseload of participants within the Workforce Australia program to achieve sustainable and fulfilling employment.

A solid understanding of people centered case management principles including barrier management is core to continued success.

Key responsibilities:

  • Motivate, engage and inspire job seekers to build their skills, experience and confidence and to work with them to remove their perceived barriers to find suitable employment
  • Create individually tailored services and support plans
  • Support participants to find suitable, sustainable and meaningful employment opportunities with local or national employers
  • Develop partnerships with employers
  • Provide post-placement support to both the jobseeker and employers

Key Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following skills and experience:

  • Have a current drivers licence
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and build rapport with jobseekers and employers
  • Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work with a diverse range of people from different socio-economic backgrounds
  • Be passionate about helping people and making a difference in the community
  • Be highly organised and possess strong administration skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office or similar software and experience using databases
  • Be results and target driven
  • Be flexible and capable of managing competing demands in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Previous Workforce Australia or employment services experience is highly regarded for this position
