Diesel Mechanic

About the role

Karan Holdings Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Windsor, NSW. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and servicing of a range of heavy-duty diesel vehicles and equipment. This is a full-time position, offering an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

1. Diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical systems
2. Conducting scheduled maintenance and servicing on diesel vehicles and equipment
3. Troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical issues
4. Performing inspections and ensuring vehicles and equipment meet safety and compliance standards
5. Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all work performed
6. Collaborating with the wider team to provide exceptional customer service

What we're looking for

1. Formal qualifications in automotive or diesel mechanics, such as a Certificate III or IV in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Heavy Vehicle)
2. Extensive experience (3+ years) as a Diesel Mechanic, with a deep understanding of diesel engine systems and components
3. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues
4. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
5. Effective communication skills to liaise with customers and team members
6. A valid driver's licence
