About the role
Karan Holdings Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Windsor, NSW. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and servicing of a range of heavy-duty diesel vehicles and equipment. This is a full-time position, offering an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical systems
- Conducting scheduled maintenance and servicing on diesel vehicles and equipment
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical issues
- Performing inspections and ensuring vehicles and equipment meet safety and compliance standards
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all work performed
- Collaborating with the wider team to provide exceptional customer service
What we're looking for
- Formal qualifications in automotive or diesel mechanics, such as a Certificate III or IV in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Heavy Vehicle)
- Extensive experience (3+ years) as a Diesel Mechanic, with a deep understanding of diesel engine systems and components
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Effective communication skills to liaise with customers and team members
- A valid driver's licence
