Downer has been awarded the Property and Asset Services (PAS) contract to deliver base and estate services across their two largest regions NSW/ACT and QLD. This is a significant milestone for our business and our enduring 80+ year relationship with the Australian Defence Force.

What You'll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

• Providing complex grounds maintenance activities ensuring upkeep of estates to achieve Land Management service line requirements
• Maintenance and upkeep for site grounds and gardens
• Identify and manage risks associated with grounds maintenance
• Provide input into reporting
• Delivery of specific and complex grounds/gardens performance.

What You'll Bring

• Experience with Grounds Maintenance and knowledge of horticulture & irrigation systems
• Certificate III/IV or Diploma in Horticulture. (desirable)
• Agricultural Chemical Distribution & Control (AC/DC) and ChemCert Certificate. (desirable)
• Medium or Heavy Rigid Truck Licence and Chainsaw Operators Licence or Certificate.  (desirable)
• Current Open Driver's Licence.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship is mandatory).
