We're a fast-paced transport company looking for an experienced Transport Operations Manager who's ready to take charge, lead from the front, and keep our fleet running like clockwork.

The Role

As our Transport Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations, leading a small but dedicated team and ensuring our service standards are met with precision and consistency.

Your key responsibilities will include:

·       Running daily operations efficiently and effectively

·       Managing a team of allocators, drivers, and trucks while maintaining strong customer relationships

·       Supporting the team with scheduling and job allocation and introduce efficiencies where required.

·       Solving problems on the fly — from staffing gaps to urgent client requests

·       Coaching and mentoring staff to drive performance in a fast-moving, time-sensitive environment

·       Ensuring every job is completed on time and to standard

·       Collaborating with the Admin team and Director to ensure all processes are followed and communication is seamless

What You Bring

·       Previous min 5 experience managing an operations team in transport or logistics environment — you know the ropes already

·       Sharp, organised, and calm under pressure

·       A hands-on leadership style — your team respects you because you lead by example

·       Strong customer focus paired with operational efficiency

·       A knack for reading schedules, optimising rosters, and making smart, fast decisions

·       Police check
