The Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in acquiring new employer partners, one of the primary drivers of success for our business. This is a high-impact role for a proactive hunter who thrives on generating leads and closing deals. We have an amazing 6 month contract opportunity to join an amazing sales team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Proactively hunting for new business opportunities via prospecting, networking, targeted outreach and employer meetings
- Managing and progressing a strong pipeline of employer prospects
- Presenting and promoting our unique value proposition to stakeholders across various levels, including C-Suite
- Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams (Marketing, Onboarding, Network Development) to support and grow membership take up rates
- Maintaining CRM records, tracking performance metrics, supporting strategy and reporting for new business growth
- Representing the brand at expos, client events, and industry functions
About You:
You are a charismatic and highly driven individual who thrives on opening new doors. You have a natural ability to engage and influence key decision-makers, combining confidence with a strategic mindset to win new business. You're passionate about fitness and wellness and believe in the impact and purpose of what we do.
What we are looking for:
- 2-5 years of Business Development experience working with mid-market and/or medium-to-large enterprises
- A proven track record in business development, including identifying, pitching, and closing new opportunities
- Proven success meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to engage and influence at all levels
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- CRM experience, plus good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Willingness to travel interstate when required
- A self-starter with a results-driven approach and a strong sense of accountability.
