About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Leading Hand / Supervisor to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil works within electrical and data infrastructure projects, including trenching, dig outs, and conduit installation. You will be responsible for supervising a team of tradespeople, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team on site, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met.
  • Undertake civil works related to electrical and data infrastructure, including dig outs, trenching, and conduit installations.
  • Read and interpret engineering and construction drawings accurately.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines and specifications are met.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies on site.
  • Prepare daily reports, keep accurate records of works, and update project documentation.
  • Use computers and relevant software for project management, reporting, and communication purposes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in civil works on electrical and data infrastructure projects.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret drawings.
  • Experience supervising teams on site.
  • Computer literate with experience using project management or reporting software.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Current site safety tickets (e.g., White Card, Construction Induction) and relevant certifications.
