We are looking for an experienced Senior Linux Engineer for our Defence client in Canberra locations. We have 3 roles that requires Linux expertise. Applicants to this job post will be screened against all the 3 roles to find you the best position.

You will have:

Required:

  • Extensive experience with Linux system administration in secure, mission-critical environments, primarily with Red Hat based operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, storage, and virtualisation (KVM, VMware).
  • Proven ability to implement security controls and respond to cyber threats.
  • Familiarity with integrating emerging technologies into secure infrastructure.

Desirable:

  • RHICE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) - Security+, CISSP, or equivalent security certification.
  • TIL Foundation (for service management)
  • WS/Azure/GCP certifications (for hybrid cloud environments)
