We are seeking an experienced and passionate Laboratory Technician to join our team in a part time, ongoing capacity. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise and assistance to teachers regarding laboratory processes and health and safety requirements for the delivery of scientific learning activities and applications.

Sacred Heart College is a Kindergarten to Year 10 Co-educational Catholic College based on the charism of the Sisters of St Joseph, located in the central Hobart suburb of New Town.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Laboratory Technician to join our team in a part time, ongoing capacity. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise and assistance to teachers regarding laboratory processes and health and safety requirements for the delivery of scientific learning activities and applications.

To be eligible applicants require:

  • Valid Working with Vulnerable People Registration (Tasmania);
  • A relevant qualification and/or equivalent experience;

  • A demonstrated genuine commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.
