The Role

Reporting to the HR Manager you will be managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including job posting, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Assisting with workforce planning, talent management, and other HR matters.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs.
  • Conduct initial screenings and interviews, reference checks, candidate selection and providing feedback and recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Facilitating the onboarding, induction, and mobilisation of new employees to project sites.
  • Preparing and completing employment documents such as contracts of employment.
  • Reviewing and confirming qualifications/certificates.
  • Coordinating skills assessments, medical examinations, and drug and alcohol tests.
  • Managing candidate profiles and maintaining candidate records and database management.
  • Responding to employee queries.

About you:

  • Experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, or a similar role.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, and strong administrative skills.
  • Strong adherence to compliance, policies and procedures.
  • Experience in the fire, medical and/or rescue industries is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
