About the role

Barista – Full-Time

Eclectic Tastes is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Barista to join our busy café team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being part of a tight-knit crew, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and serving a variety of espresso-based drinks, including cappuccinos, lattes, and flat whites, to consistently high standards
  • Providing excellent customer service, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all customers
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including the proper care and maintenance of all coffee equipment
  • Contributing to daily operations including table service, register use, and food prep.
  • Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of café operations and customer experience

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a high-volume café or restaurant environment
  • Confident with grind adjustment, extraction, and machine setup
  • Skilled in latte art and consistent coffee presentation
  • Friendly, professional, and able to multitask under pressure
  • Flexible availability across mornings and weekends
  • Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and an understanding of different coffee bean varieties and roast profiles
  • Must have the right to work in Australia
  • Minimum 2 year2 of experience as a Barista in a commercial setting
