We are seeking a passionate Community Occupational Therapist to deliver home and community-based assessments, rehabilitation, and therapy services for older adults and NDIS participants (aged 6+ through to adulthood).

What You'll Be Doing
  • Provide home and community-based OT assessments and interventions for older adults, supporting independence, safety, and functional rehabilitation.
  • Conduct home assessments for equipment, supports, and modifications to enable safe daily living.
  • Deliver rehabilitation and therapy programs tailored to older adults in the community.
  • Work with NDIS participants aged 6+ through to adulthood, completing Functional Capacity Assessments, reports, and Assistive Technology (AT) assessments.
  • NDIS experience is preferred but not essential, with training provided to support your development in this area.
  • Develop and implement therapy plans with clients, families, and support teams, focusing on meaningful goals and participation.
  • Collaborate with other allied health professionals, community services, and support coordinators to achieve optimal outcomes.
A Typical Day

Start by reviewing your caseload and preparing any therapy resources.

Visit clients in their homes or community settings, providing assessments and interventions.

Complete clear and timely documentation to support quality care and compliance.

Touch base with your supportive team for collaboration and advice.

End your day knowing you've empowered someone to live more independently and confidently.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (or pending completion).
  • Current AHPRA Registration (or awaiting outcome).
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply).
  • Professional Indemnity & Public Liability Insurance.
  • A compassionate, client-focused approach with a passion for empowering others.
