Who are we looking for?

Assistant Project Manager / Project Controller Darwin-based,

This rewarding role will see you involved in:
  • Coordinating design activities as per guidelines, while ensuring alignment with project objectives, client requirements, and industry standards.
  • Supporting and collaborating effectively with project and design managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful client experience in project delivery.
  • Assisting with project delivery tasks to ensure the timely delivery of projects within budget, program and client expectations.
  • Assisting with the preparation of proposals as per the requirements set out in the winning work cycle, and regional workflow (as required).
  • Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including design briefs.
  • Tracking project progress, monitoring design milestones, and proactively identifying and addressing any potential issues or risks.
  • Supporting the integration of sustainability and safety considerations into project design processes.
  • Taking on the role of Project Manager in small projects.

What you will bring to the team:
  • Relevant experience in Project Management and Contract Administration (PM/CA), Engineering or Business to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Understanding of project governance structures, construction methodologies and risk management.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Attention to detail and a critical eye for design quality, ensuring adherence to specifications and standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • A team player with a willingness to learn and support the team as needed.
  • A proactive attitude, always looking for efficient methods and solutions.
  • Flexibility and openness to taking on various tasks and responsibilities as required.
