• $98, $104,372.88 pro-rata per annum plus 12% superannuation

The role

Looking to learn a new skill? An exciting 6 to 12-month secondment opportunity is available within Service Response as a Trade Waste Field Officer.

This opportunity is open via an expression of interest with full training provided.

If successful, you will move into Customer Compliance Team for a 6 to 12-month period to assist in managing the compliance of Trade Waste Customers. This role will be primarily focused on Greasy Waste.

Your key responsibilities

• Inspecting Greasy Waste customers and ensuring customers are informed of trade waste obligations moving forward
• Engage with customers to establish Trade Waste Agreements and educate in relation to their obligations
• Inspection of customer sites and taking samples to determine compliance against trade waste agreements and the adequacy of on-site pollution prevention controls
• Manage non-compliance customers and trade waste events.
• Investigating Incidents and/or spills caused by fats and grease

The successful applicant will be paid higher duties (OL3.1) during the secondment.

• Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
• Willingness to learn more about Trade Waste
• An understanding of a variety of Trade Waste and Waste-Water Treatment processes
• The ability to effectively communicate with customers, industry representatives and internal stakeholders' various compliance and other issues that may occur from time to time

Please note this role requires some inspections late afternoon/early evenings.
