We are looking for a passionate and engaging Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our young and fun team This a contracting position which will involve providing comprehensive assessment and therapy services to our paediatric clientele in Fairfield.

We are seeking someone who is:

  • Passionate about working with children and their families
  • Experienced or interested in working with a diverse range of paediatric developmental, sensory, and physical challenges
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, who values teamwork
  • Applicants Require the Following:
  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • A Working with Children Check (WWCC) and a current National Police Check
  • A driver's licence and reliable vehicle for off-site visits
  • Previous paediatric experience is preferable
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional growth

About us:

We are a young and fun allied health team based in Fairfield. We strongly hold a family centred approach, working with the families to provide optimal therapy outcomes. We work with children aged 18 months to 17 years old. We enjoy working as a team, attending team events and debriefing between sessions with each other.

About the role:

In this position, you will:

Provide evidence-based occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to the needs of children and their families

Develop and implement client-centred therapy plans to support children's development, independence and participation in daily activities

Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators and other health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care

Opportunity to organise and run social groups and group therapy sessions

Conduct therapy sessions in the clinic, homes, schools and preschools as required

Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports for clients

Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical practice.
