About the role
Competition Scaffolding is seeking a Scaffolder/Labourer to join our team on the Gold Coast predominately working up Tamborine, Queensland. This part-time role is crucial in supporting our construction projects and ensuring the safe and efficient installation of scaffolding. As a Scaffolder/Labourer, you will be responsible for assembling, maintaining and dismantling scaffolding structures to industry standards.
What you'll be doing
- Safely erecting, altering and dismantling scaffolding structures
- Performing general labouring duties to support construction activities
- Inspecting scaffolding equipment and reporting any damage or defects
- Adhering to all health, safety and environmental regulations
- Collaborating with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality
What we're looking for
- Good understanding of scaffolding systems and safety protocols
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to work at heights
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- A valid white card (general construction safety card)
