About The Role
Love the outdoors? Work alongside our friendly parks and open spaces team and learn how to:

  • Look after local parks, gardens, sporting ovals, and town spaces —planting, watering, mowing, trimming
  • Use and maintain power tools
  • Help with concrete work, general clean-ups, and maintenance jobs
  • Test water in the town supply, bore baths, and pools
  • Keep yourself and others healthy and safe at work

We're offering
paid traineeships
that run for two years, fully supervised, and lead to achievement of a
nationally recognised Certificate III or IV qualification
—plus the possibility of ongoing work with Council when you complete.

The Traineeship will commence as soon as possible depending on candidate availability.
