The Opportunity – About the Role

We're seeking a commercially astute Senior Finance Manager to join our Commercial Development Finance team within the CFO Group, based at our Sydney Head Office fopr a 12 month parental leave contract.

In this strategic role, you'll partner closely with the Apartments Development Team to maximise returns, manage risk, and enable informed decision-making across the development pipeline. You'll lead financial modelling, feasibility analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure commercial outcomes align with Stockland's strategic objectives.

You'll also play a key role in supporting capital partnering, strategic growth initiatives, and delivering financial insights that inform Board and leadership decisions. This is a high-impact role requiring strong stakeholder engagement across Development, Finance, and external partners.

About You

You'll bring:

  • Extensive experience in commercial finance, feasibility analysis, and strategic development projects
  • Strong financial modelling and commercial analysis capabilities
  • CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent) preferred
  • Proven ability to influence strategic decision-making and deliver insights
  • Experience in senior finance leadership and business partnering
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to build productive networks internally and externally
  • A passion for driving performance, innovation, and continuous improvement
