Wood is currently recruiting a Civil Designer - 12D to join our Brisbane office on a permanent contract to work across a portfolio of projects across oil and gas assets.

The Role

Reporting to the Discipline Lead Engineer, the successful applicant will be part of a busy project team delivering projects for our clients in the oil & gas, water and renewables industries, 12D expertise is required.

The key objectives for this role are:

  • Design, Supervision and checking of 2D / 3D modelling of civil components using 12D and AutoCAD formats
  • Prepare Civil earthworks drawings
  • Prepare layouts and sequences for major civil work fronts
  • Liaising with the other discipline teams to ensure we meet the project outcomes and schedule
  • Undertake and supervise 3D modelling of Civil components using civil 12D and AutoCAD formats
  • Deliver civil works construction staging layouts and final design drawings

  • Experience in Greenfield or Brownfield Civil Design
  • 5 years' minimum experience in the Oil and Gas industry
  • Demonstrated experience with engineering teams to deliver complex projects whilst exceeding client expectations.
  • Civil 3D capable, PDMS Design and AutoCAD valued
  • 12D proficient
  • Experience in Structural design is also favourable
