This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join our Executive Leadership Team as the inaugural Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO).

The CBDO role has been created to lead this exciting agenda, ensuring that our business development strategies align seamlessly with the bold vision that will carry us into the future.

Amity Health is a well-respected not-for-profit organisation, providing regional and rural people with the best possible access to health and social, community services.

We work in partnership with government, non-government agencies and health service providers to offer support, advocacy, leadership and coordination in the delivery and promotion of primary health care to the Great Southern, Midwest, South-East Coastal Goldfields, Southwest and Wheatbelt regions.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Business Development Officer will be responsible for:

  • Shaping and driving innovative business development strategies aligned to our Strategic Plan

  • Identifying and leveraging new opportunities for growth, diversification, and partnerships.

  • Building high-value stakeholder relationships that strengthen our reach and impact.

  • Championing a culture of quality, innovation and transformation within the organisation.

About You

You are a visionary, commercially astute leader with a proven track record in business development in the Health, Social or Community Services Sector at an Executive level. You thrive in dynamic, growth-focused environments and are energised by transformation. You bring:

  • Demonstrated success in securing and sustaining strategic partnerships.

  • Strong strategic thinking, financial acumen, and negotiation skills.

  • The ability to inspire, influence, and lead at the C-suite level.

  • A collaborative leadership style, balancing innovation with pragmatism.
