About the Role

As the Dairy and Freezer Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall performance of the department - from achieving sales and profit targets to leading a high performing team. You'll ensure compliance with food safety and workplace regulations while delivering an exceptional customer experience in an award winning store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team including your 2IC. Senior team, and assistants
  • Manage department budgets including sales, gross profit, wages, and shrinkage
  • Maintain high standards in merchandising, stock levels, and presentation
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, WHS, and company policies
  • Drive customer satisfaction through excellent service and product availability

What You'll Bring

3–5 years' experience leading a dairy/freezer department in a supermarket - or similar

Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and retail compliance

Proven ability to manage financials and control costs

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Basic computer literacy
