Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.

About the Role:

This role requires a research midwife/nurse to participate in clinical research within the Obstetric and Gynaecology Units and is responsible for supporting the "Point-of-care testing for maternal GBS: The StrepSureTM diagnostic accuracy study"

This is a Fixed Term - Part Time Role requires you to work 48 hrs per Fortnight

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience as a Registered Midwife, with at least 2 years postgraduate midwifery experience (essential).
• Prior research experience; or postgraduate-level study (highly regarded).
• Demonstrate sound clinical assessments and analysis, and implement indicated treatments (essential).
• Well-developed computer skills (essential), including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook: essential) as well as with RedCap database (desirable).
• Excellent organizational and team working skills, with the ability to work independently (essential)
• Current Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification or commitment to attainment within three months of commencing role
