About the Role:
This role requires a research midwife/nurse to participate in clinical research within the Obstetric and Gynaecology Units and is responsible for supporting the "Point-of-care testing for maternal GBS: The StrepSureTM diagnostic accuracy study"
This is a Fixed Term - Part Time Role requires you to work 48 hrs per Fortnight
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience as a Registered Midwife, with at least 2 years postgraduate midwifery experience (essential).
- Prior research experience; or postgraduate-level study (highly regarded).
- Demonstrate sound clinical assessments and analysis, and implement indicated treatments (essential).
- Well-developed computer skills (essential), including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook: essential) as well as with RedCap database (desirable).
- Excellent organizational and team working skills, with the ability to work independently (essential)
- Current Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification or commitment to attainment within three months of commencing role
