Genus Group is expanding rapidly, and we are seeking a driven and detail-focused
HSEQ Advisor
to provide HSEQ expertise to our Fleet team.

The successful candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment and enjoys staying actively engaged, this role offers a dynamic opportunity to take ownership of our facility in Kenwick. You will drive safe, compliant delivery of works within the facility. You'll be instrumental in shaping safety culture, ensuring adherence to best practices, and supporting the project through all phases of construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide SHEQ advisory and support to project teams
  • Drive compliance with relevant HSE legislation, systems, and procedures
  • Lead and support safety initiatives and promote a strong safety-first culture
  • Conduct incident investigations, assist with reporting, and implement corrective actions
  • Communicate safety requirements clearly across all levels of the workforce
  • Participate in site set-up and ongoing safety assessments, with a hands-on approach

About You

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in a SHEQ role
  • Tertiary qualification in Work Health and Safety or related discipline
  • Solid working knowledge of WHS legislation relevant to mining and construction
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Confident working in a dynamic, environment with a proactive, team-focused attitude
  • Current WA "C" Class Driver's Licence
  • Must have work rights in Australia
