What you'll be doing

This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of Australia's largest health system by joining the statewide NSW Health Deployment program in the Central Resource Unit (CRU)

We are looking for Enrolled Nurses to provide person-centered care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse, in a variety of hospital and facility settings, collaborating with individuals and multidisciplinary health care teams.

Where you'll be working

The Enrolled Nurse workforce will be deployed to locations across NSW Health from anywhere between 2 and thirteen weeks to support short-term staffing needs. You will have the flexibility to work for short periods of time, with the opportunity to stay longer and work across a variety of health settings when on deployment.

To be considered for this position, you will need to attach your up-to-date resume (up to 5 pages), cover letter detailing your relevant skills and experiences and response to the targeted questions in the questionnaire.

Targeted questions:

1. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (Ahpra) as an Enrolled Nurse.
2. Current drivers' licence with capacity and willingness to travel to NSW Health business and service locations throughout NSW which will include overnight stays in regional / remote areas. These deployments will make up the majority of your time in the position.

This is an NSW Health Category A position. For more information, please refer to the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases policy.

If you have any current evidence of vaccination against these, upload them with your application. Your current vaccination status will not impact your application.
