About the Role

As Head of Faculty – Drama, you will lead the strategic and day-to-day operations of the Drama Department, fostering a culture of high expectations, creativity, and engagement. You will be responsible for shaping the curriculum and ensuring outstanding learning outcomes, as well as overseeing and delivering the School's major theatrical productions, which are a highlight of our cultural calendar.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, mentor and support Drama staff to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.

  • Design, implement and evaluate innovative curriculum programs aligned with NESA/ACARA requirements.

  • Oversee all co-curricular Drama activities, including school productions, showcases, and performance opportunities.

  • Manage production budgets, resources and logistics to deliver professional-standard events.

  • Inspire and nurture a love of performance and creativity among students.

  • Collaborate with other faculties and contribute to the wider life of the School.

This role attracts a generous teaching salary (dependent on your accreditation level) and a Leadership Level 2 allowance.
