Meat Packer – Mounts Bay Meats

Mounts Bay Meats is seeking a reliable and hardworking Meat Packer to join our team. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a dedicated team, ensuring our customers receive the highest quality products.

Shifts available Monday to Friday 7am-2pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a clean and safe work area in accordance with HACCP and Work Safe regulations.
• Handling meat products.
• Operation of MAP packing machine and vacuum packing machine.
• Producing value added lines.
• Operation of Tray & Carton scales.

Requirements:

• Good communication.

• Punctual and reliable.

• Previous experience in food handling, meat (Beef) processing, or packing (preferred but not essential)

• Lifting and carry cartons of meat products up to 10kg.
• The ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining a safety-first approach.
• The ability to work within cold storage environment and with raw meat products.
• Excellent time management.
• A willingness to learn.
• The ability to work as part of a team or unsupervised if necessary.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Be available for overtime when required.
• Have reliable transport
