North Western Program Alliance (NWPA) consists of four Alliance partners – John Holland, KBR, MTM, V/Line and the client (LXRP), working together as one team to achieve shared goals.   Since 2017, the Victorian Government has entrusted North Western Program Alliance (NWPA) and our Alliance partners to remove dangerous and congested level crossings, deliver new rail stations and infrastructure, and create more community open spaces.  

Our Alliance currently has three projects in delivery and two in development phase, along with the successful delivery of ten level crossing removal projects (17LX) and several premium stations.

NWPA are looking for a Completions Coordinator to join the alliance.

About the Role

The Completions Coordinator supports the North Western Program Alliance (NWPA) in achieving the timely handover of newly constructed, altered or removed assets to the ultimate asset owner or maintainer.

This role ensures the integrity and completeness of asset information, facilitates safe and compliant asset handover and supports project delivery in accordance with all relevant requirements.

Responsibilities of the role include / What you will do;


• Work under the direction of the Senior Completions Advisor to coordinate completion activities for assigned projects in accordance with NWPA Program Alliance Agreement (PAA) Schedule 19 contributing to NWPA program of Works


• Support handover and asset acceptance requirements including preparation and submission of required TeamBinder forms and certificates


• Assist with ARTO Asset Data / Image submission and review process


• Support stakeholder engagement and management (contractors, infrastructure, engineering, client)


• Adhere to all legislative and regulatory and internal process requirements


• Support the verification and closure of defects identified by Stakeholders


• Ensure ARTO's Work Readiness compliance requirements are implemented on time


• Assist with as built drawing reviews and acceptance into the Documented Management System (DMS)


• Provide onsite support during rail occupations to ensure completion deliverables are achieved


• Identify process improvement opportunities including identification of common defect types to assist with reducing rework and delays and escalate as required


• Undertake weekly status reporting


• Perform any other duties as specified by Senior Completions Advisor and / or Completions Manager

To be successful in this role, you will have;


• Certificate or diploma in Engineering, Construction, Project Management or equivalent


• Demonstrated experience across either Engineering, Rail, Project Management and / or Construction


• Experience in project completions, document control or a similar role within the rail, infrastructure or construction sector is highly regarded


• Achieves a high level of client satisfaction


• Delivers work within agreed time, cost and quality standards


• Demonstrates a clear understanding of client requirements


• Demonstrates strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple, conflicting priorities in a fast paced environment


• Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of team, maintaining attention to detail while meeting deadlines


• Seeks opportunities for continuous improvement and ways to innovate
