The role

As a skilled Landscape Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of landscaping tasks, ensuring the efficient use of machinery and tools to meet high standards of quality and safety.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, and skid steers for various landscaping tasks.
  • Install drainage and irrigation systems, including trenching, pipework, and system testing.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete both softscape and hardscape projects.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely, following WHS procedures, using PPE, and adhering to construction codes and standards.
  • Assist in site setup and cleanup, ensuring materials, tools, machinery and waste are managed/maintained properly.
  • Maintain accurate records and report work progress to the Site Manager or Supervisor.
  • Assist in diagnosing and solving site issues, including drainage problems, soil conditions, and plant health.

Key Requirements

  • Certificate/Qualification in relevant industry (Essential).
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong knowledge of landscape construction, including drainage, earthworks, and paving.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to different site conditions.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to adhering to WH&S policies, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
