Weighbridge Operator

Workfast are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Weighbridge Operator / Administrator to join our team at our Newcastle site.

• ASAP start
• $36.00 per hour + Penalties + Super
• Ongoing part time work

What you will be doing:

• Learn to operate the weighbridge in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
• Perform data entry tasks with a strong focus on accuracy – this role is 150% data entry
• Use Excel spreadsheets
• Provide excellent customer service to drivers and visitors
• Handle cash transactions when required
• Maintain clear and professional communication at all times
• Remain on your feet for extended periods – this is a physically active role

What you need:

• Advanced Excel skills are essential – must be confident in data entry and spreadsheet use
• Experience with Waste Edge system highly regarded
• English fluency is essential – must be able to communicate clearly and confidently
• Customer service and cash handling experience preferred
• Must be comfortable working in a busy environment and standing for long periods
• Full PPE required (steel cap boots, hi-vis etc.)
