The Role

Based in Brisbane, this hands-on, customer-facing role puts you at the heart of Australia's production lines - delivering technical expertise and solutions that keeps high-speed production lines running smoothly.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Installations, preventative maintenance & repairs on CIJ, TIJ, TTO, Laser, LPA & LCM systems.
  • Diagnosing & resolving mechanical, electrical, and software issues to minimize downtime.
  • Training operators & maintenance teams on safe, efficient system use.
  • Supporting product demonstrations & solution delivery with the sales team.
  • Managing parts usage and maintaining accurate service records.
  • Building lasting customer relationships through responsive, reliable service.
  • Contributing to service performance targets through quality workmanship and customer support initiatives.

This role involves light travel, a fair rotating on-call roster, and occasional weekend cover support to keep Australia's leading manufacturers running.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years' experience in field service, industrial automation, or maintenance.
  • Trade/tertiary qualification in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills across mechanical, electrical & software systems.
  • Experience with packaging or printing equipment (highly regarded).
  • Ability to read technical diagrams & schematics.
  • Customer-focused communication skills & willingness to travel.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
