We are seeking female Support Workers with strong experience in mental health support to work with a female participant in the South Windsor area. This role involves providing person-centered, trauma-informed assistance in a calm, respectful, and empowering manner.

About the Role

You will be supporting a female participant who requires workers skilled in mental-health-informed care. The ideal worker will be confident in recognising emotional escalation and using de-escalation strategies to maintain safety, dignity, and wellbeing. Staff applying must be open to working overnights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one support within the participant's home and community
  • Use mental-health-informed approaches to promote emotional stability
  • Apply de-escalation techniques when situations become heightened
  • Encourage independence while maintaining a supportive presence
  • Maintain accurate notes and communicate effectively with the support team
  • Available to work overnights
