Location:Werribee West Family Centre  Position: Certificate III or Diploma Educator

Award:VOTTEA award, Level 1.1 - $24.87 per hour or Level 2.1 - $28.01 depending on qualification.  

Employment type: Enjoy a flexible part-time schedule – 17.75 hours per week Tuesdays & Thursdays: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. One short shift (Monday or Wednesday, negotiable): 10:00 am – 11:45 am

Werribee West Family Centre is in a community hub that was purpose-built for children and families. Within this bustling service, you'll find a secure playground for imaginative outdoor play and three rooms for kindergarten so there's plenty of space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interacting with families and children in a nurturing and engaging manner
• Cultivating trusting relationships within the kindergarten community
• Collaborating effectively within a small team of educators
• Valuing and fostering community connections, building partnerships
• Demonstrating adaptability and empathy when working with families from diverse backgrounds
• Be able to support the ECT team with the implementation of the kindergarten program

Qualifications and Skills:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Current Working with Children check
• Current National police check or willing to obtain
• Ability to communicate effectively with both children and adults
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Cultural sensitivity and ability to engage with diverse families
