About the role

Join a team that places a strong emphasis on safety and has a proven track record of achieving positive outcomes. Based at our Mackay site, this role entails day shift work from 7 am to 3 pm or 8 am – 4 pm, with overtime available and paid at penalty rates.

Pay rate $ $37.69 dependent on experience, plus a $12,000 per annum remote living allowance.

Key Responsibilities for this Role Include:

• Loading and unloading trucks
• Operating forklifts, excavators and loaders
• Performing manual handling tasks
• Maintaining cleanliness in the yard and operational areas
• Conducting daily checks on mobile plant
• Adhering to safety procedures at all times

We are looking for individuals who value teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement and who are comfortable working at a steady pace to contribute to the team's success.

Ideally you will have:

• A valid forklift license
• Experience operating an excavator and loader
• HR truck licence, desirable
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced yard environment
• A positive mindset with a general willingness to learn
• Passion for working as part of a collaborative team

InfraBuild is Australia's leading integrated steel manufacturing, distribution and recycling business, making steel using our electric arc furnaces.
