Conveniently located in beautiful Cotton Tree (between Maroochydore & Mooloolaba). The Silva Spoon is currently looking for enthusiastic and motivated kitchen staff to join our friendly team.

We're open 7 days a week, including weekends and public holidays, giving you opportunity to gain diverse experience and enjoy flexible work-life balance.

The hours on offer are between 10:00am - 4:30pm and up to 30 hours/week, with an immediate start available for the right person.

As part of the team, what you'll do is:

  • You will be responsible for maintaining the kitchen crockery and cleaning and restocking the dishes that come from the cafe. Ensuring all items are clean, sanitized, and properly stored.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, including cleaning food preparation areas, equipment, floors, and work surfaces.
  • You will also be helping prepare food during the lunch service
  • Ensure all food is prepared safely and in accordance with food hygiene regulations
  • Providing support to the bakers and other kitchen staff as needed

What we're looking for:

  • A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
  • Reliability with good organisation and communication skills
  • Previous kitchen hand experience would be helpful but not necessary, we're happy to help train you
  • A willingness to grow with us
