Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Vehicle Body Builder located in Brendale, QLD. The Vehicle Body Builder will be responsible for constructing and assembling vehicle bodies based on design specifications, working closely with engineers and operational staff. Daily tasks will include reading and interpreting technical drawings, using welding and fabrication techniques to build structures, installing components such as doors and windows, conducting quality checks, and ensuring that the final product meets safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle body building, welding, and fabrication techniques
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and other team members
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision
• Relevant trade qualifications in vehicle body building or metal fabrication
• Experience with automotive design and manufacturing is a plus
• Commitment to safety and compliance with industry standards
