About the role

Reporting to the Stores Leading Hand, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of routine manual and electronic based functions in the storage, distribution, control, issuing, and record keeping operations within the Stores functions.

Primary duties include:

• Picking & Packing – Reviews customer orders and participates in the accurate locating, picking, packing and delivery of customer orders (to include Sales Orders / Work Orders & Transfer Orders) within agreed timescales
• Goods Inward – Unload vehicles, receiving orders, verifying order quantity, quality and condition of goods received for conformity to Purchase Order specifications – processing orders through Company computer system, filling supplier paperwork. Labelling and manually placing goods into stock location areas including Inspection requirements.
• Despatch – Using company vehicles for internal and external customer deliveries / supplier collections and general enquiries.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Proven experience using a warehouse/inventory management system for receipt and dispatch of inventory.
• Current Australian Manual Drivers Licence
• Forklift Licence (Not essential)
• Sound verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate well with others and deliver exceptional customer service
• Ability to follow and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously.
