Freyssinet Australia is currently seeking a detail-oriented and driven Estimator to join our VIC Remedial team based in Melbourne. This is a great opportunity to be part of a technically specialised business that delivers complex structural remediation projects across the region.

About the Role

You'll be working on a diverse portfolio of projects, typically valued between $1 million and $15 million, across the structural remediation space. This includes everything from concrete repair and protection, cathodic protection, structural strengthening, façade refurbishment, waterproofing, joint sealing and crack injection, through to specialist coatings and more. These works span reinforced concrete, steel, and composite structures in both the private and public sectors.

As an Estimator, you'll be responsible for developing accurate and competitive cost estimates, supporting the pre-contracts and project delivery teams, and ensuring robust pricing strategies that reflect the technical complexity and unique challenges of each job. You will be a critical part of securing future works and contributing to the continued growth of our VIC Remedial operations.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone with a strong construction or engineering background, ideally with prior site-based experience.

You'll also have:

  • 3 to 5 years' experience in estimating roles
  • An engineering degree (civil or structural preferred)
  • A strong grasp of construction methodology and remedial techniques
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Great communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Certificate IV in Building and Construction (or similar qualification – to be confirmed)

  • Role based in North Melbourne
  • Occasional travel to Adelaide may be required
