About the Role

We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Casual Housekeeper to join our small, friendly team at Alexandra Park Motor Inn. The role involves maintaining clean, tidy, and welcoming guest rooms and common areas, primarily over the weekend.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to a high standard
  • Change bed linen, towels, and restock amenities
  • Vacuum, dust, mop, and disinfect as required
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and storage areas in good order

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Reliable and punctual, with good attention to detail
  • Honest and trustworthy, able to work independently
  • Physically fit, as the role requires some lifting and repetitive movement
  • Friendly and professional, contributing to a welcoming environment for guests
  • Experienced in cleaning, housekeeping, or a similar role (preferred but not essential)

Requirements

  • Available weekends (some flexibility with weekday shifts if required)
  • Own reliable transport
  • Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience highly regarded

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $38.30 – $42.12 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 5 per week
