  • Secondary Art Teacher, 6 month replacement contract position

  • Commencing Term 3 2025

  • Approx. 0.8 FTE (depending on ability to teach other subject areas)

Role Purpose

The Art teacher plays an integral and dynamic role within the Secondary faculty, inspiring and challenging students to excel in the Arts. They bring a deep passion for creative education, effectively incorporating relevant learning instructional tools to enrich the educational experience and support clear learning objectives. They are committed to fostering artistic growth and engagement while continually striving toward cultivating confident, creative, and reflective learners who value artistic expression and critical thinking.

Pre-Requisites/Qualifications

These qualifications/certificates are required prior to commencing employment at HILLS and must be updated for the duration of employments at HILLS (please provide copy with application):

  • Registered with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia

  • Current Working with Children Check

  • Current Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse & Neglect Certificate

  • Current First Aid Certificate

  • Current Driver's Licence
