**About the role**:
Downer is looking for dedicated and energetic Catering Assistant's to join our team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality food and service to meet the needs of our client at Roma Mitchell Secondary College, Gepps Cross, while following Downer policies and procedures.

**Multiple casual opportunities available, you must be available to work Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:30am - 2:00pm**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare ingredients for sandwiches, rolls, and salads, as well as other food items as directed
- Set up tables/trolleys prior to service and plate meals accordingly
- Serve food and beverages to students with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Assist in dishwashing, including crockery, pots, pans, and cleaning designated areas like fridges, sinks, and floors
- Minimise waste and ensure food safety by adhering to State and Commonwealth regulatory requirements

**About you**:

- Strong communication skills with a professional phone manner and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to a positive working environment
- Fast, efficient, and friendly customer service skills
- High attention to detail and ability to follow food safety and hygiene guidelines
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
