About the role

Are you a passionate Dental Assistant looking for a casual role at a reputable dental practice in the heart of Tuggeranong ACT . Greenway Dental is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join their dynamic team and support the delivery of exceptional patient care.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting the dentist during dental procedures by passing instruments, mixing materials, and ensuring the work area is organised and sterile
  • Greeting and welcoming patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit
  • Maintaining detailed patient records, scheduling appointments, and managing front desk operations
  • Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
  • Supporting the dental team with general administrative tasks as needed

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar healthcare support role would be highly regarded.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service.

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately

  • A genuine passion for healthcare and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care

  • Certification or qualifications in Dental Assisting or a related healthcare field would be highly regarded,
  • Candidates who have no experience in dental assisting are also encouraged to apply and training is provided for suitable candidate.
