About the role

Our Community Support Workers provide flexible care to our clients in their homes through a range of services, including

• Providing personal care
• Domestic tasks including cleaning & meal preparation
• Social support & engagement
• Transportation & community access

About you

This role requires

• Qualifications in Home & Community Care, Aged Care, Disabilities, Individual Support or equivalent.
• The ability to work autonomously & in a team environment whilst delivering high-quality, wellness-focused care.

Desirable

• Experience working in aged care or community support work
• Familiarity with in-home care

The successful applicant will have (or be willing to obtain)

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current NSW Working with Children Check
• A Current NSW Driver's License
• Insured Motor Vehicle
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current CPR Certificate

Community Gateway is not-for-profit provider of aged care and disability services in the Illawarra, Shoalhaven and Mid North Coast regions of NSW.

We have been operating for more than 35 years and have a close connection to the communities in which we work.

Our services include case/care management, in home care and supports, respite, cleaning, transport services, social programs, life skills development, clinical care and allied health therapies.
