We are looking for a qualified, multi-skilled Maintenance Fitter with at minimum a restricted electrical license to join Ridley AgriProducts at our Narangba site. If you have hands-on maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.

The Role

Working closely with the Maintenance Manager, maintenance team and production team, you will:

• Work on various manufacturing equipment
• Ensure safety and efficiency in plant operations
• Perform both time-critical breakdown repairs and scheduled maintenance tasks
• Schedule maintenance activities to meet production targets and minimize downtime
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and plant reliability

Experience with computer-based maintenance programs is desirable

You will have

• A mechanical trade qualification (essential) and relevant tickets
• Queensland Restricted Electrical License
• Experience with preventative maintenance, trouble shooting and breakdown repairs
• Experience with PLCs and variable speed drives
• Safety-focused with good communication skills
• Proficient computing skills; experience with Microsoft Office and CMMS
• Install machine enhancements and appropriately test parts to meet product specifications
• Ability to work under pressure and effectively communicate
• Over 2 years of industry experience, including working with manufacturing and maintenance teams
• Current valid drivers licence and forklift license (HRW)
