The Fundraising and Communications Division (FCD) is responsible for creating ways for people to play their part in saving lives and reducing the impact of cancer.

Through a diverse revenue generation program, the Division works to ensure funds are raised from generous Australians through best-practice high volume fundraising approaches; exceptional relationship management of philanthropic partnerships; delivery of iconic fundraising events; and retail product sales and royalties.

About your opportunity

The Fundraising Campaigns Officer sits within the Digital Fundraising Team who is responsible for managing large-scale digital and peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns including Australia's Biggest Morning Tea and Daffodil Day. Reporting to the Digital Fundraising Lead, this role requires excellent skills in stakeholder management, data management, and attention to detail to help us achieve campaign targets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing administrative and fundraising support to campaigns across the Fundraising portfolio.
  • Supporting the digital fundraising team to implement automated communication plans and journeys, supporter feedback and user testing.
  • Work closely with our Supporter Engagement team to ensure FAQ's and key campaign information is correct and briefed ahead of time, act as the first point of contact for any escalated queries from our supporter engagement team.
  • Ensure accurate weekly reporting and real time monitoring of fundraising data across campaigns.

We are looking for someone who's excited to kickstart a career in fundraising and bring energy, curiosity, and a can-do attitude to a purpose-driven team.

  • You have a keen interest in fundraising or working for a not-for-profit organisation.
  • Experience in a community or not-for-profit organisation, desirable
  • Enjoy working with digital tools and platforms, and are keen to learn more about digital fundraising, campaign management, and CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service and relationship management skills
  • Experience working with automated customer journeys
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks/deadlines
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, including generative AI tools (e.g. Copilot)
  • Occasional flexibility to work overtime, including some weekends, will be required.

  • Base salary of $63,318 to $68,828 p.a. (dependant on experience, pro rata for part time) plus superannuation (Superannuation paid in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee (Administration) Act 1992 (Cth).
