Mission Systems Technical Engineer, Lead
The Opportunity
Engineering to make systems more resilient and efficient advances capabilities and optimizes cost. Critical support personnel facilitate the design, evaluation, testing, and documentation of new capabilities that deliver accurate, timely, and relevant feedback to our clients and industry partners. As a Mission Systems Technical Engineer, your inputs will drive key outcomes and advance the next generation of capabilities.
You will develop training, testing, and evaluation plans to meet site needs and evolve with capability changes. Your inputs will be key to building optimal test environments for training and evaluation. Your documentation will identify crucial changes and enhancements for capabilities today and beyond.

You Have
- Experience implementing defined testing and demonstration activities for mission systems
- Experience designing, developing, and evaluating test criteria for new software and hardware, including support for regression and enhancement
- Knowledge of operational readiness demonstrations and plans
- Ability to support and document test procedures in accordance with client requirements
- Ability to support 24/7 operations as needed by staffing shortages or client direction
- Ability to obtain timely medical and psychological clearance
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have
- Experience with local site personnel, processes, and procedures
- Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience in systems engineering, system administration, or mission technical support within an operations environment, or Master's degree and 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, system administration, or mission technical support within an operations environment
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
