About the role

Cutting Edge Glass Solution Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Glazier to join our team in Sydney, NSW.

As a Glazier, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of shower screens, glass balustrade and glass pool fence. This is a full-time position, will be offered to the right candidate.

This position will be suitable for school leavers or an apprentice 1st / 2nd yr who willing to grow within the company.

What you'll be doing

  1. Cut, fit, and install glass in windows, doors, and other structures
  2. Repair and replace damaged or broken glass
  3. Measure, order, and transport glass materials as needed
  4. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on glass structures
  5. Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and builders, to complete projects
  6. Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant building codes and regulations
  7. Install new shower screens and seal
  8. Working within team install glass balustrades and pool fencing

What we're looking for

  1. Willing to learn and follow instructions from leading hand.

  2. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision

  3. Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy glass panels
  4. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  5. Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  6. A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
