Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated
Entry / Junior Data Analyst
to support business insights and data-driven decision-making. This role is ideal for candidates early in their career who are eager to work with datasets, generate reports, and contribute to the improvement of business processes in the Australian market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and organise data from multiple sources
  • Assist in data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and visual reports using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
  • Support data validation and ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Prepare reports and visual presentations for internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with teams to understand business requirements and data needs
  • Assist with forecasting, performance metrics, and KPI tracking
  • Ensure compliance with Australian data standards and internal policies
  • Support ad-hoc data requests and analysis projects

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
  • Basic proficiency in Excel and SQL
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Eagerness to learn and develop data analysis skills

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualisation tools
  • Basic knowledge of Python, R, or similar programming languages
  • Understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and validation processes
  • Exposure to statistical methods or business intelligence concepts
  • Awareness of Australian data compliance and privacy regulations
