About the role

The GIPA and Privacy Specialist position is responsible to providing specialist advice and services across TAFE NSW to ensure requirements under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA) Act, Privacy and Personal Information Act 1988 (PPIP Act) and related policies are met, and the interests and expectations of the organisation, government and public are effectively managed.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.

  • Significant experience applying GIPA and Privacy Information legislation and related policies to provide senior level advice and guidance in a large and complex organisation.

  • High-level stakeholder engagements skills, building trusted partnerships to optimise business outcomes.

  • Strong communication skills to interact with various internal and external stakeholders, providing clear and concise information.
