We are seeking a diligent professional to assume the role of Privacy Officer within our Compliance and Privacy Team.

Your core responsibility will be to ensure seamless privacy compliance, foster a culture of privacy awareness, and provide expert guidance to stakeholders on strategic initiatives and projects involving privacy legislation and risk mitigation.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

- Performing day-to-day management of the Mandatory Notification of Data Breach Scheme process

- Enhancing privacy frameworks and developing privacy tools, policies, and procedures

- Leading efforts to raise awareness and capability across the organization through privacy training, reporting, and the implementation of privacy-by-design principles

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with various stakeholders, build trusting relationships, and influence best practice on privacy matters.

To succeed in this position, you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of privacy legislation, proven experience navigating complex privacy issues, and a strategic mindset with a focus on solution-oriented approaches.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and experience, as well as a commitment to upholding the highest standards of privacy compliance.
